Woman trapped in sinking SUV rescued by Good Samaritans.
On January 16th 2026, at about 1:15 PM in the icy waters of Virginia Beach, a woman was trapped in her sinking SUV, when four Good Samaritans dove into the water to save her.
They shattered the windshield, but as the SUV disappeared beneath the surface, it appeared all was lost. And then:

One of the Good Samaritans, a veteran Navy rescue swimmer dove under, managing to pull her out, as the other Good Samaritans then assisted in bringing her to safety.
