Cat disappears, found six days later in an Amazon warehouse 630 miles away.
In Lehi, Utah about 30 miles from Salt Lake City, Carrie and Matt Clark were frantically searching for their 6-year-old indoor cat, Galena.
They gave out flyers, and posted online, but received no replies. After 6 panic-stricken days, they feared the worst. And then a California veterinarian called.

Galena was found at an Amazon warehouse in a 3-by-3-foot box, in Riverside, California, among five pair of steel-toed boots Matt had sent back.

Carrie and Matt began crying with joy. And then they wondered, how did this happen?
It seems Galena crawled into the return box, when Matt left to get some tape to seal the box. The box weighed roughly 35 pounds so no-one noticed a small 10-pound cat.
For nearly a week, Galena was sealed in the cardboard box, with no food or water, until Amazon Riverside personnel found her at 1 a.m.
Brandy Hunter, an Amazon Riverside warehouse employee, who refers to herself as a "crazy cat lady," because she rescues cats, was called.
She immediately arrived with a cat carrier, a blanket, food, and water.
"The cat was very disoriented and very weak," Brandy told The Washington Post. "It's absolutely incredible that she survived."
Galena survived from a tiny opening in the box giving her air, and from mild weather.
In the morning, Brandy took Galena to the vet, who found her microchip identifying the Clarks, and called them. The Clarks quickly flew to Los Angeles.
The Clarks are thankful to Brandy.
"There are good people in this world," said Carrie. "Brandy Hunter is one of those people, and we are so thankful for all of her heroic efforts to save Galena.
