Billy Adams: Beautifying his community wherever he goes.
54-year-old Billy's community is the greater Washington, D.C. area and each day when he takes his 12-mile walk, litter quickly disappears, and beauty reigns.
"It's just something I do," Billy told The Washington Post. "It's become part of my routine," as he typically collects two trash bags of garbage/recycle.

Wearing gym clothes during his walk, Billy grabs everything in sight from food wrappers to plastic bottles and beer cans to granola wrappers and face masks.
"I'll pickup pretty much anything," he told The Post.
"I hope people see me and go, 'Hey, maybe next time I walk around I'll bring a trash bag and do that,'" he said. "The simple act of picking up trash makes a huge difference."
