A very special visitor for Arnold the Goose.
Arnold, a Canadian Goose, recently injured his foot and received medical care from The New England Wildlife Center in Weymouth, Massachusetts.
The day after they had taken him in, while they were giving him anesthesia and his meds, they heard a tapping on the door.

Canadian Geese mate for life, and who was at the door? Amelia, his mate.
How did she find him? No-one knows for sure, but they believe she may have seen him rescued and/or heard him honking overnight.
They gladly welcomed her in.
Arnold needed four-weeks of treatment, and each day when they put him in an outdoor pen for fresh air, Amelia would arrive and join Arnold in the pen.
And after four-weeks, when Arnold was healthy again, they joyfully flew-off together, in a marital bliss many a human would envy.
