A Life-Changing Partnership Between Two Friends.

Many years ago, two-men in Northern China, Jia Wenqui, who has no hands, and Jia Haixa, who is blind, formed a life changing partnership.
Because of their physical limitations, neither could find work, that is until they made a compelling proposal to a Chinese community.

To reduce soil erosion and to beautify the area, they proposed that the community hire them to plant one thousand trees a year.
That was 10-years and 10,000 trees ago.
And the planting continues. “I am his hands, he is my eyes,” said Mr. Haixa. As shown in these photos, the pair work very well together.
Their partnership reminds us there is always a way when people are determined to accomplish something special.
