Bob Votruba: A million acts of kindness
On April 16th, 2007 Seung-Hui Cho, a Virginia Tech student went on a shooting rampage, killing 32-people and wounding 17-others, before killing himself.
Americans were stunned, including Bob, who three-days later visited the campus for four-days, pondering what he could do to make a difference.
While most of us regretted this tragedy, but took no action, as you will see, Bob made an unusual commitment, one which uplifts the lives of many others.

To offset so much hatred in the world, Bob pledged to himself to commit a million acts of kindness.
He bought an old 1990 school bus, invited others to join him in painting that bus with inspirational sayings, and then with his little rescue dog Bogart, began driving across the U.S. to commit those acts of kindness.
For eight-years, Bob has been visiting schools, companies, churches and other venues to appeal to numerous people. His goal is to stop bullying and related adolescent suicides.
But he encourages everyone to commit their own acts of kindness, for he believes in doing so, we can make this a far better world.
